We have delicate skin around our eyes and it is known to be several times thinner than the rest of our face. In fact, our blood vessels are just a fraction of an inch away from the skin’s surface. Since it is more vulnerable, this is why wrinkles appear here first.

Some consumers may think eye care products are unnecessary and is just another marketing gimmick by companies to sell them more products but the truth is, a separate cosmetic product should be used for the eyes. The normal day or night moisturizer for the face is too heavy for our eyes.

To get best results on eye care, use an eye cream with SPF factor for day use. As you use, pat gently on the eye contour beneath the eyes to stimulate blood circulation. At night, use another eye cream to moisturize.

Dark circles

Dark circles can happen at any age, it is true. My three year old kid gets dark circles whenever he sleeps late or goes without his afternoon nap.

The most common reason for this is lack of sleep although there are many other reasons such as genetics, stress and food intolerance such as cow’s milk. One common belief is that dark circles formed because of waste accumulation around the eye area.

We may call it intuition, sixth sense, divine guidance, spell of good power, divine love or anything. It is beyond our logic and sometimes even against our logical arguments. One is tempted to hypothesize existence of super autonomic nervous system that is differently and vaguely described as residing in the right cerebral hemisphere of right handed people and in charge of non sequential thinking, appreciation of poetry, holistic perception and so on. In my view this vaguely described functional complex which I refer to as super autonomic nervous system resides well spread in several silent areas such as those of prefrontal cortex.

But the purpose of this article is not merely to indicate this possibility; but to visualize the culmination; of the vast panorama of knowledge; in the form of various arts (including martial arts and arsenals), sports, literature, science, technology, religions, ethics, rituals, laws etc and overall accomplishments of mankind. Let us visualize and remind ourselves and reiterate repeatedly that the purpose and the culmination of all the accomplishments of mankind is self realization (which may be tangible in future; in terms of evolution of super autonomic nervous system). We, the people of world (irrespective of religions, races, and nationalities) have to keep on organizing, reorganizing, orienting and reorienting our accomplishments in the direction of this self realization.

The butterfly is a beautiful creature that has been viewed by many as a representation of newness in life and freedom. While this statement holds to a more mystical understanding of the butterfly; the habitat, defense and cultural significance has also been studied for understanding.

This article will not be able to review all aspects of the butterfly but will look to examine how the butterfly has had a significant impact on cultures as a whole. More poignantly it will look to examine the early Asian culture in comparison to how the butterfly has impacted modern American culture.

The butterfly had an interesting engagement with a Taoists philosopher, where after seeing a butterfly carrying him in a dream, he reflected after he awoke whether it was he that was trying to be carried into a new life as a butterfly or was he once a butterfly carried now into the human life.

As Taoism is an attempt to achieve harmony with nature I wonder how this interaction continued to shape the belief of Taoism as a whole.

The Banarasi silk saree that has a diligent combination of black, maroon and gold along with some touches of red shade is really an interesting piece of art. Pondering the saree any further would make any women to get her lost in it. The huge block of pallu has awesome zari woven lehariya patterns. The pallu ends with a broad grey patch. The subtle colours and the way through which they are incorporated are worth praise. This saree is a boon to enhance dark complexioned, thin women. It is an excellent idea to be worn in private evening parties held at home.

The bottom edge of the saree has a thin maroon strip that is followed by gold, black and red stripes. The whole border in total is medium sized pattern.

The black body of the saree is adorned by huge maroon and gold floral patterns. These designs frequent throughout the saree. These floral patterns resembling cannas flowers are flowing and graceful. The occupation of these patterns thickly all over the saree soars up the celebration mood in the eyes of the beholder.
